In 2006 Carmelo Anthony was
eighth in donating the most money out of all celebrities. He is
also a spokesman for Family Resource Center. He donated three
million dollars towards the construction of a new basketball practice
stadium at Syracuse University. In 2004 he donated 35,000
dollars to the tsunami relief effort. Living Classrooms Foundation
received a $1.5 million donation from Anthony. He also opened a
youth development center in Baltimore, Maryland. Anthony also
donated money towards a community center in Baltimore.
